The theme of the programme was "PROPOSED NEW WAYS AND MEANS TO STRENGTHEN THE UNITED NATIONS CAPABILITY FOR COLLECTIVE ACTION".

Patricia Baigrie organised the UNGSP (under the Coordinator, Elena Ponomareva-Piquier).

The 41st session was held in July 2003 at the United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG) and attended by 90 students from 40 countries, who were in three Working Groups: Development, Human Rights and Environment.

Patricia Baigrie organised study visits for the graduates and exposed them to the several UN organisations and entities. Many have since gone on to occupy positions of leadership in the IGO and NGO world.

Her students called her by her first name "Patricia" and experiences her as a warm, chatty, generous, helpful mother-hen, who deeply cared for the success and positive impact of the programme as well as the wellbeing of the participants.
